To make it harder for you, I say the tea bread. Oscar loves that sort of thing and being gluten free I can easily convert it for me too!!! Sorry Faceless food! Though we could of course ask for both x
"Ladies and gentlemen thank-you for joining us at the very beginning of the bidding war for the next PITK recipe. Off to a promising start but the followers are divided. In with an early bid was Faceless Food but just 4 minutes later Ali raised the stakes with a bid for Teabread. Things are looking tense. Now back to the bidding..."
"And now Verity runs in from the wing and she is brandishing, wait! I think she's waving a sign that says 'Cookies'! A ROAR of approval from Faceless Food and we are at Cookies 2 Teabread 1 as we head towards half time."
"It's almost unbearably tense! Jen at CakeyPigg Originals is bringing Teabread back into the reckoning, it's now Teabread 3, Cookies 2. It's a good thing because I'm not sure where we'd find the chocolate ships she mentions. So is this it? Has the teabread won?"
Tea bread - more than enough cookie recipes out there (even though yours are streets ahead of all the rest).
Tea bread sounds healthier so I'll have far less guilt making it too. I might even get a chance to eat some before the other 5 members of the family gobble it all up (which is what usually happens with cookies...)
"And after a lull in the second half Annie has brought some interest back into the game with her vote for Teabread. Teabread edging into the lead once again. Not much time left on the clock, can the cookies bring it home for the chocolate chips?"
"It can only be a matter of time before I get completely confused about the score and Millie has come in with a late challenge for Cookies! It really is neck and neck now as we head towards the final goal. Have I sufficiently mangled all the sporting metaphors?"
"And we're teeing off for a birdie in this marathon gala of a bidding race! From nowhere Sarah has scored a direct hit for cookies and Flo'bear stepped neatly up to the oche and scored home run after home run for Cookies. As we enter the final furlong, the outcome is anyone's guess."

Mmmm Got to be tea bread for me :0)
"And it's a draw! From nowhere Amethystvenus threw down another bid and the teabread is really back in the game. It's not over yet."
Cookies for me too I'm afraid.
"And Vicki is piling the pressure on with her request for cookies! is it all over for the teabread?"
I have to vote for good old fashioned tea bread. The chocolate ships in cookies would be way too melty on a day like today.
what a typo, chocolate ships???? it's the heat!

Cookies all the way - no contest!

Teabread please! I used to make this with my grandma so it gets my vote not only because it's delicious but also for nostalgic reasons too :)
"And after a frankly boring second half, in comes Iselilja batting for Teabread! What will the ref say about that?"
Cookies please!
Cookies! Cookies! Cookies! Cookies! Cookies!
